Leah Limpert Walt
Bio
Leah Limpert Walt is a painter and instructor living and working in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Her work is in private collections in the United States and Germany.
My images draw up a sense of call and response in the collective self. Mystical connections that bridge gaps in human knowledge or explanation infuse the imagery of my paintings with remembrance and possibility. These inner workings from just beyond the veil inspire an earthly knowledge told through a heightened sense. A magical realism where depictions of realization, grief, regeneration, reintegration, and tenderness are nestled in landscape and fostered by the divine feminine.
