Leah Limpert Walt is a painter and instructor living and working in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Her work is in private collections in the United States and Germany.
My images draw up a sense of call and response in the collective self. Mystical connections that bridge gaps in human knowledge or explanation infuse the imagery of my paintings with remembrance and possibility. A kind of earthly knowledge told through a heightened sense, where depictions of realization, grief, regeneration, reintegration, and tenderness are nestled in landscape and fostered by history.
